HILTON HOTEL
Omaha, NE
Background
The Hilton Omaha hotel, located in the heart of downtown Omaha near the Old Market Entertainment District, is an ideal meeting and leisure destination. This Omaha luxury hotel is one block from TD Ameritrade Ballpark and joined to the CenturyLink Center Omaha Convention Center via an enclosed sky bridge.
Engineered Controls began working with the Hilton Hotel when the structure was originally built in 2002; and again in 2011 when guest rooms were expanded to its current capacity of 600 rooms. Since 2003, Engineered Controls has been assisting the Hilton Hotel operations personnel in streamline building operations and help to reduce their energy costs.
The building management system consists of a Honeywell WEBs system architecture and controls a mixture of mechanical and electrical equipment
including AHUs, MAUs, VAVs, ERUs, FCUs, EFs, UHs, and Fin-tube radiation. Central plant heating and cooling is accomplished through the use of HW and CW heat exchangers from a private downtown central energy plant.
The Honeywell WEBs network monitors and control in excess of 12,500 points.
