Background
Midtown Crossing is located just west of downtown Omaha, Nebraska, the area had developed into a entertainment area with plenty of restaurants, bars and theaters. Completed in 2010, Midtown Crossing spans over 1 million SF, and offers patrons two large parking structures with easy access from a number of entrances and exits.
Midtown Crossing utilizes an Amano McGann parking access and revenue control system, installed by Engineered Controls. With two different parking structures, the total parking capacity is in excess of 2,500.
The south parking garages has access from either Farnam St. or Harney St.; and the west parking garage has access from Farnam St., Dodge St. or 33rd Street. Each lot has different parking rates based on proximity to the hotel, restaurants and other entertainment.
Midtown Crossings’ Amano McGann parking access and revenue control system has a parking system architecture that includes an iParcProfessional software server, database SQL server, proximity card readers, gate operators, ticket dispensers, credit card exit stations and cashier stations.
