Fremont, NE
Background
From its inception in 1885, First Lutheran Church has been a cornerstone of the religious community in Fremont, NE. Over the next 130 years, First Lutheran church moved four different times, each time opting to building new rather than remodeling the old. Then in 2006, First Lutheran moved to its present location with the building of a “Great Hall” followed by a permanent worship space. Then in 2013, First Lutheran Church began a new campaign to build a Mission Center as part of Phase 2 at our new location. The new addition is scheduled for completion in early 2016 and will add additional classroom and meeting space, a dedication preschool area and a large multi-purpose room.
