Background
Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary is the second seminary of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, a Society of Apostolic Life in the Catholic Church. The seminary was canonically established in 1988 by Pope John Paul II in accordance with his letter Ecclesia Dei afflicts and opened in 2000. Located in Denton, Nebraska, near Lincoln it was founded primarily to serve English-speaking seminarians for the Fraternity from North America and to provide traditionalist Catholic education.
Engineered Controls began working with Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary as part of the construction team and has been assisting the buildings personnel in streamline building operations and help to reduce their energy costs.
The building management system consists of a Honeywell WEBs system architecture and controls a mixture of mechanical and electrical equipment including WSHPs, ERUs, FCUs, EFs, Boilers, Pumps, CUHs, and UHs.
The Honeywell WEBs network monitors and control in excess of 8,500 points.
